We’ve just taken delivery of some exciting new hard drive enclosures from Hotway. The new HDK-SU2 colour series is available in Blac, Red, Blue and White. These SATA HDD enclosures are not only gorgeous on the eye but they are incredibly well designed and manufactured but then we’ve come to expect nothing less from Hotway over the years that we’ve been dealing with them!
Each HDD Caddy comes with its own top quality leather wallet and also a USB “Y” cable that enables the data transfer and provides the power to the caddy. You don’t need to worry about any additional power supply “brick” because these caddy’s draw their power from the USB port(s) they are connected to.
Ideal solution for making your own portable back up solution or for recovering data from any salvaged hard drive taken out of a laptop. Bearing in mind you can pick up decent, branded HDD’s for around £20-£30 when combined with on of these you can get a great looking portable back up solution for only a bit less than you’ll pay for a memory stick!
